Paying your healthcare provider with PatientFi is straightforward. Here’s how it works:

  1. Provider Initiated Transaction: Your healthcare provider will create a transaction for your medical expenses and send you the transaction details. This notification will be delivered to you via text message or email.

  2. Accept the Transaction: When you receive the notification, click on the provided link to access the transaction. Here, you will have the option to accept the transaction and proceed with the payment process.

  3. Payment Plan Selection: Within the transaction, you can select a qualifying payment plan that suits your financial preferences.

  4. Price Discrepancies: If you notice any discrepancies in the price or have concerns, you have the option to “Reject” the transaction. In this case, your account will not be charged, and you can work with your provider to resolve the issue.

With PatientFi, you have full control of your account. Your loan will not start without your acceptance of the loan amount and terms. Once you do accept, PatientFi will release payment to your provider to pay for your treatment. Please note, that once you do accept the loan, only your medical provider can provide refunds or cancel the loan.

Each provider we partner with has the ability to select the payment terms they would like to offer at their practice. This means some payment plans listed on our main webpage may not be available with every provider. Please consult with your provider to see what plans they offer. See Payment Calculator for more information.

We require a debit card or banking information for your first month’s payment only, which is automatically drafted on your first due date. You will not be charged until your first payment is due which is 30 days after completing the transaction acceptance process.

 

Moving forward, you have the flexibility to make manual payments using the same account information provided initially, or you can choose to enroll in recurring payments using that same account. If you prefer, you also have the option to add a new payment method for future transactions.

No, PatientFi does not charge prepayment penalties. You are welcome to pay off your loan sooner than the agreed-upon term without incurring any additional fees.
